Ballantine’s 12 Year Old is an award-winning whisky, garnering a gold medal at the Scotch Whisky Masters twice in the past. It is a blend of whiskies from more than 50 distilleries, including Glenburgie and Miltonduff.

Ballantine’s whisky was first produced in 1869 by an Edinburgh grocer, George Ballantine. Ballantine expanded his grocery business, venturing into wines and spirits, before deciding to start blending his own whiskies – an act that was becoming the usual at the time. Ballantine’s range of whiskies boasts a multi-award-winning range of blended whiskies. It consists of the best-selling Finest, plus 12, 17, 21, and 30 year old versions, with the range being amongst the best-selling whiskies globally.

Ballantine’s 12 Year Old whisky features a creamy and honeyed character. It flaunts a bright honey gold colour and a nose teeming combination of sweet honey with hints of oak and vanilla. The tasting note offers somewhat complex honey and floral flavours with creamy oak sweetness – leaving you with a long-lasting, refreshing, and sweet taste of sherry and fruit salad with mixed nuts.
